Andy Brockhouse's Birthday Party!

Every day, when you ride home to your homestead in The Shire, you see him patiently standing there, whatever the weather, ready to help out any young hobbit in search of their own home. Yes, where would we be without Andy Brockhouse to sort out our burrows?

To thank him for this sterling work, a surprise Birthday party is being organised for Andy on the 16th September. There will much in the way of food and drink (Andy himself is said to be particular keen on ales, and has been known to bring his own homebrew to work) as well as music and dancing to brighten his day.

Songburrow Strollers - 4th Anniversary Concert

Four years ago, two fine hobbits, named Lothilia and Rurydoc, announced they were to be married in the village of Slighting. This was a cause of much celebration and there was much talk of the party that was to be held after the ceremony. In particular, three hobbits from the Grand Order of the Lost Mathom, based in Songburrow, got together to form a band to play music at the party. They named the band "The Songburrow Strollers".
