"My...My Lady, you have found me..."
He looked at the maiden standing over him full in plate and armed as if going to war, in blue and white colours in the fashion of the Noldor of Gondoline of Old, but it was of no surprise, for she indeed was an Ondolindiell (Daughter of Gondoline) and was known as one of the rare maiden who choose the art of war over more peaceful occupations, and like him she was of the Noldor that stayed in Middle Earth after the War of Wrath. But occupation and kinship was not the only thing they had in common: He was the witness of her Oath to the Lord of Bar-en-Vanimar and her Battle Brother. He was ashamed when looking at her, for he was now, as he thought, concidered a deserter for leaving the order without warning, not matter his reasons.
With her warrior, yet gentle, hands she helped him get on his feet and then they talked... At first they talked of his journey and battles and she had to hear once again his love for the Naugrim and how valiantly they fought besides him. Then she had to hear his accusations and harsh words towards the Eldalië who sit in their realms and do little against the ever present Evil (as he believes).
Then at last he spoke of his motivations and his plans, one was about a treachery that he wanted to unmask, and for that to happened he asked her to tell everyone that she found him slain... so he could continue his journey without interruption. At first she did not believe what she was hearing, but at last he explained it was needed for him to protect his kin:
"Remember your oath, sister!"
"To protect the life of my kin... to fight the enemy with all my power..." replied Yendë.
He told her to trust none but herself, and that with luck he would return one day. Arvaryar asked for one of her weapons, but instead recieved his own hammer that she carried with her. He gladly took his old weapon and walked off lightly, despite his wounds. "
"It is a good day to be dead!"
