The full tale of Jarkil Kalevi, Chapter 2.

Twelve years had passed, since the death of Tarl Kalevi and the Birth of Jarkil Kalevi, so of course things had changed in the Camp of Pynti-Peldot. The population had been growing, the Hunting was going fine.. For once, believe it or not the Lossoth seemed without trouble. Yet such a thing never lasts long, now does it?

But as the Story goes...

Jarkil were cutting firewood one day, as he saw the figure of a Pale lad approaching, he looked upon Jarkil with a laughing expression in the Eye as he said; "Don't you think chopping wood is for Girls?" Jarkil smirked, replying to the Comment in a Sarcastic tone; "Don't you think complaining is for Betrayers and Etelä-Vieras?"

The Boy laughed, seemingly he got the Joke as he took up an Axe of his own and started to help Jarkil in his work. It was a snowy day, so it was only after a few moments that they were all covered from top to toe in Snow. For long were they silent, working as their duty were in that young age. But after a few moments of silence the Strange boy finally spoke; "Im Garü, by the way." He said, nodding to Jarkil as he replied; "I am Jarkil Kalevi, son of Tarl."

Then proceeded a long moment of Silence again... It's another Strange thing with those Lossoth, they don't speak much when working.. I remember hunting with Jarkil, he said not a word till we had taken down our Prey! But aye, aye.. You must be tired of me getting off the Subject, old Men's gibberish and all that!

So, Jarkil and Garü were like Brothers after that day, always working together.. And playing, when time was for it. But as summer approached their Playing turned into downright trainning, for in the Summer they would for the first time be brought along for the hunt. The hunt which would determine the Heimo's fate for the rest of the entire Year, this was the fate of every capable Man of the Lossoth Tribe.

The Boys joked alot about it alot.. "I will be able to take down a Gauredain on the Hunt!" Garü yelled after Jarkil as they were gathering herbs in the Hills, "Oh well, i will be able to take down three with a single arrow." Jarkil roared back, as he nodded rapidly to conclude that this was true - Which it by the way wasn't - and that it would be done within an eyeblink.

Soon though the time came:

Twenty Men stood outside the gates of the Camp, dressed in white Fur so that they would easily be able camouflage themselves when stalking their Prey. They would be gone for Months, and some might not even return. Such was the risk every year, yet the mood was high as ever as they gathered to plan the path they were gonna take.

The two small Boys among them dressed in too large Hunting gear, was easily overseen in the crowd, yet Jarkil's Mother Killipa's voice was un-escapable; "Jarkil! Jarkil! Take care, don't get yourself hurt!" She screamed out trough the Camp as the Group started making their long March. "I won't..." Jarkil mumbled, as he watched garü's amused grin at his Friends embarresment.

And so was it that Jarkil met his Best Friend Garü.. It was sad though, what was later to come in his life..
