The sound of multiple bags hitting the desk in front of the Mayor of Bree resounded in the room. People jumped, spinning around to see a figure glaring at the mayor, arms crossed. The stench of ichor, blood, and death permeated from the bags, causing some people to run from the room, other to retch. But the mayor just sat perfectly still, paling.
"Ah, yes ... uhm. I see you have the ... " he opened one of the bags carefully, cowering back as a few severed ears and spider heads fell out "the .... deeds done." The Man swallowed hard, waving a hand in front of his face. A guard moved to grab the bags and dispose of them, the figure just silently watching.
"Well! Yes ... now what was it you wanted again, friend? A place to stay or where a good tav--"
The figure slammed its fists upon the table, looming over the mayor, eyes boring into his. The mayor tried to lean back, but a hand shot out to grab the collar of his tunic.
"Tell. Story. Rohan. Wagons. NOW!"
"Yes! Yes! That was it. W-well yes, I allowed a group of men and women from Rohan to u-use some of the city's wagons."
"Where. Going."
The mayor licked his lips, the stench of leather, sweat, and something else he could not place emminated from the figure. "Yes, well ... they said they were headed towards Rohan itself, but no one dares go th--"
The grip on his tunic tightened as he stammered, lights tingling the sides of his vision. "A-Andrath! I gave them supplies to take them past the Forsaken Inn and into Andrath!"
The figure released the man, letting him fall back into his chair with a grunt. Spinning on it's heel, the figure left the Hall, slipping past guards who suddenly came to life after the accosting of their Mayor was over.
Andrath .... the figure frowned lightly behind it's mask. Leather boots moved to take the trail towards the Forsaken Inn. Perhaps more can be learned there.
