Those Three Words

Awiergan rode into the Wadstoke neighborhood confidently as he sat atop the saddle of his horse. Though his destination was not his own home, but the home of another who he held very dear to himself. He decided that he would tell her that day of how he really felt of her and that he did...

He climbed the stair to her house and paused at the door for a moment to listen to the lute music which came from inside. He knew that this was her playing the lute, for he has a love music and greatly adored the fact that she loves it a swell, probably even more than he does. Eventually he took it upon himself to knock on the door and it was answered by Gweneira who stood at the door with the lute in her hands. Awiergan smiled and walked in giving her a kiss as a mere greeting, he also offered to take the lute from her hands which he did. After placing it carefully on a chair, facing upwards. Awiergan then went to Gweneira to speak to her.

"How are you?" He asked with a smile on his face. "Hungry!" she replied with also a smile and a slight a giggle. He could not help but laugh for a moment, though instead of rushing his words on her, he allowed her to eat before speaking. "Then please do eat. There is something I wish to say to you after. Though I am not certain of how you may take to it." With a sly smile Awiergan gestured for her to eat. Gweneira felt nervous and uncertain after those words but she did however begin to eat some bread which was on the table. They sat together on the carpet and Awiergan gazed at with an unusually big smile on his face as she ate, though this probably did not make Gweneira feel very comfortable at all.

Eventually she had finished her bread and it was then when Awiergan took his hand in hers and stared deeply into her eyes. He was nervous and shy, unsure if he should speak the words that he wished to speak. He lifted his hand to her cheek and placed his finger tip against it gently and smiled to her, he opened his mouth to speak but could not bring the words from it instead he laughed softly. He then sealed it and smiled as he continued to gaze into her eyes for a short pause before opening his mouth to speak again and once again not much had come from his mouth, only a single word: 'I....' He said, before smiling and looking down thoughtfully for a moment but he eventually was able to look her eye to eye and speak the words in his Rohirric tongue, he spokes calmly and as silently as a whisper. Translated into westron: '...Love you.' is what he said to complete his sentence at last. She could hardly reply to him with with words. But yet, she did reply to him with a kiss as she held him tightly and he held her tighter, though not too tight as if to crush her. Tight enough to simply show her that he did not mean to let go of her, ever. She broke from him and held her face close to his, that was when Gweneira replied to him with words sweet as sugar and as silent as a whisper once again in the Rohirric tongue of the Eorlings she spoke to him the words, translated in westron: 'I love you too.' is what she had told him. Again they closed into each other and kissed once more as they held each other tightly. Gweneira seemed to have an effect upon Awiergan that no other had ever had upon him, this was a very good thing at least to them because they are happy together...
