The condition of this recognizance is such that Master Saphrax, former Captain of the mercenary unit named "The Free Company", has been named Captain of the Combe Town Watch.
In this quality, master Saphrax has been granted the right to carry out recruitments, to fill in the ranks of the Combe Town Watch.
Every and all authorities in the territory must offer it's unrelented support and resolve to the aid of the Combe Town Watch.
The men of the Watch are responsible for the keeping of peace and enforcing the Law in and around the villages of Combe, Archet and Staddle. Likewise will not attempt anything against any of the locals of the aforementioned towns and villages in the Bree-Lands, but only against the said poachers, bandits, and southerners that plague the realm.
By virtue of the said commission, The Combe Town Watch as a whole and its men as individuals are to be held responsible only by the council of Bree and answer to none, except to their honor, their code of conduct and his lordship Mayor Graeme Tenderlarch of Bree.

We are a young medium RP kinship, organised as a company of watchmen or, as others would say, town guards. Our area of activity is - at the moment - the Bree Lands. We are a military kinship, but – as I pointed out above – since Combe is our area of interest, military activities are rather.. what was that euphem-, word.. mild. Our recruits patrol the land and try to stay alive enough to reach retirement, with a nice little pension.
We recruit only Men, Hobbits (since there is a fair number of them in Combe and Staddle), and a few dwarves, if they can restrain themselves from treason when tempted with a pouch of gold and from drinking a river, when in a tavern. We chose Combe as our place because it’s quieter and drama-free, when compared to Bree Town. We look especially for low-level characters (because they are more enthusiastic than older, veteran players, who might be already fed up with LotRO). We want to learn and grow the kinship up together.
What we require is something regular kinships usually don't take into consideration: heart, patience, brains and a well dosed sense of humour. Age isn’t an issue, but maturity is.
Among the RP events we aim to run are drills, parades, tavern nights, patrols, one or two illegal boxing matches in a basement somewhere and even a few contraband runs, if the pay is good – everyone knows the salary of a watcher isn’t big. In the end, our aim is solely to have fun, enjoy the game and accomplish this in a friendly and helpful environment.
