Many a month has passed since his services in Elthengels were no longer needed, or rather no longer demanded. He took up his pack as soon as it seemed his drinking threatened to outweigh his purse's contents. With Aesche his steed itching to be on the run again and his old wounds being healed as good as it may be done, he set off southwards. A long journey it was, not entirely uneventfull either, he finally made it into the town of Reeve Fastred, a town indeed for some would argue about it's crumbling, but still imposing walls left from another era that it could perhaps be a city! Yet the numbers of the civilians within would prove too few.
Despite his ragged and grim appearance he found himself in Fastred's company not long after his arrival. In no small measure thanks to an old friend, joining the eored in exchange for food and shelter in the great meadhall, life moves onwards.
There he found himself two familiar faces, Denholm and Ysle, and here he thought he finally would've ended up alone with his horse for good fated to be nothing more then a lone rider without a home nor company. Images of past days flashed through his mind as the couple oblivious to his presence went on their daily tasks, Auerdan, Ceobrand, Eorlund , Kennia, Eorran.. to name only a few of his old eored. The images ceased to flow on as he looked at Denholm and Ysle from a distance, particulary Ysle's belly. His eyes widened, it seemed there's been a lot going on in the time of their separation.

Another magnificent dawn rose over the horizon as Yrminas salted the meat from the boar he caught with several other men. Tendrils of mist still flowed through the largely quiet and empty streets of Snowbourn, a cold breeze licked his sweaty limbs and forehead as he lifted yet another portion of meat in a small barrel. He frowned at his surroundings as the others finished to stack the final few barrels within a cart. He wiped his hands as the meat set in and he scooped portions of salt over it with a small cup. He felt a slap on his shoulder and glanced over it without his face getting any less gruff. "It's about time you came over to our house, when you can just follow the road to the southwestern gate, Ysle and me will be having matters on our hands there."
The bearded figure walked off without much emotion, neither did Yrminas seem to show much either. It all seemed quite peculiar to those few looking at the both of them in their short burst of contact.
The final strands of mist were about to rise up to the sky once more as Yrminas stepped through the streets, he patted his arms with his hands and rolled his shoulders to get the strain out of them from the earlier exercises. He glances at a couple further on the road, his heart lurched a little in fact, even though he wouldn't admit it to anyone, least of all himself. A shapely lady with cropped up golden hair was sitting on the stone fence that ran by the road, while a man with brownish hair and rather impressive beard was chopping firewood. She was the first to take note of him and headlong ran into Yrminas as far she could run atleast, for it appeared she was with child. "We thought you to have vanished.", she said quiety as she wrapped her arms around his chest. "In a sense I did.", he placed a gentle salty hand on her shoulder and she stepped back with a smile that would melt ice. Behind her the bearded man didn't show as much energy, but his enthusiasm was no less in his more calm method of showing emotion. "Don't mind it if I don't snuggle up to you as Ysle would!", he said as he neared with a pleased grin on his features. Yrminas smiled momentarily aswell, "Wouldn't mind it as much no." The gave eachother a hand, or rather grabbed the wrists of eachothers' swordarms before letting go. "Come inside quickly, you'll get sick if you stay out drenched like you are in this cold weather.", without awaiting an answer Ysle beckoned for Yrminas to follow, "She seems to haven't changed much has she then Den?" Denholm replied, "I would believe she's more motherly by the day!" And with a gentle thud the door closed until the midst of day.
