*Found outside the Bree-Jail, just before entering the door*
Due to current circumstances, a few new policies have been put in place in regards to the local watch, and more specifically, Bree Jail.
- Bail is to be set at a higher rate than before, specific to certain events.
- Drawing weapons on other people for any reason other than self defense will be set at a bail of 50 silver.
- Assaulting others will be set at a 100 silver bail
- Any form of robbery or thievery will have bail set at double the value of the stolen possessions. Stealing one silver, you owe two, and so on.
- Under no circumstances is someone accused of, or guilty of murder, kidnapping, escaping jail, or assisting in someone escaping the jail, to be released on bail, accepting any amount of coin and releasing the person in question will be considered a bribe, and the watcher will be stripped of his/her rank and face punishment.
- No one brought in drunk, can leave until they are sober.
- Jail time has been extended.
- Petty thievery, obnoxious behavior, drunk and disorderly conduct, and other similar minor offense will lead for a night, to two weeks in a cell.
- Assault, burglary, and other moderate offenses will lead to three weeks, to two months in jail.
- Arson, attempting to, or successfully escaping the jail, and kidnapping, as well as other severe offenses, will lead to six months, or several years in prison.
- Murder, and attempted murder will lead to a lifetime in prison, or execution.
- New policies in the jail house.
- The gates will be locked off to civilians until noon, and locked again in the afternoon, leaving only a few hours of visiting time for.
- No one is allowed to enter without permission, even during visitors hours. No hoods, masks, swords, bows, crossbows, hammers, spears, axes, javelins, daggers, or other weapons are to be on your person while entering the jail - The gate wardens will search anyone entering the jail, and hold onto any of these objects as long as you wish to be inside the jail house, and returned upon leaving the area.
- Forcibly entering the premises with a weapon will result in an automatic night in jail, or a 30 silver fine, followed by removal from the premises.
