In my father's home
This was my first visit to my parents private retreat. I remember, Nana served me a delicious tea made from golden flower petals. And staving off the unusual chill for a summer night, my thoughts were elsewhere. Particularly, my mind was focused on recent events surrounding my family.
It is true that almost every time something happens to Morohir or Nartari, I am not there to aid them. However, they insist that it was better that I was not there. After all, my parents are stronger in spirit and body than me. This consolation, unfortunately, did not help me much because it is instinctive for me to protect my loved ones. I can only be grateful that the others, those that I feel obligated to shield, have remained safe so far. Thanks be to Eru.
