It was the 1500th year of the Third Age and I was celebrating my 5000th birthday when I was on a mission in Gondor and discovered the Great Library and the plethora of knowledge it held. I learned details of great personal interest to me as well. I had decided years ago when I met the Blue Wizards that this world had many tales to tell and that it was in my best interest to learn of them and how they related to my past. One of these interest was that of the "Battle of Sudden Flame". It related to the Ring of Power and this fiery blast that destroyed so many elves had peeked my interest as I was still searching for any knowledge of the Crystals, or Silmarils and this Fire made me believe it was related to the Fire Crystal. Another interesting read was that of the Nirnaeth Arnoediad (Battle of Unnumbered Tears) as it related to the tale of the "Murasame" also known in tales as "Sword of Tears, Sword that Kills, and it made me think of the Masamune, a great weapon that had wondrous power as it was the opposing blade to the Murasame. The great sword that defeated Sauron made me think of this blade and I could only hope and dream it had a likeness of it somewhere in this land so that I could find it. I spent many more days reading scrolls and books before I returned to Elrond in his new haven to see if he may have learned something.
He said he did not but he knew one who may, that person was a great elf known as Talagan Silvertongue, Lord of Edhelion. A great refuge in Erid Luin as well as a library of relics and other ancient wisdom. Elrond decided I was worthy to enter it's halls and gain access to it's knowledge. It was in the summer of the Third Age and the year was 2400 when I began my lessons at Edhelion and it was under the direct tutelage of the Lord Talagan Silvertongue himself. I was quite honored by this and I felt that this was finally going to help me with my own personal and highly secretive quests. I just wish the story would have a happy ending this time.
