It seems peaceful to be out alone. In theory, I haven't been given permission to leave on my own from the Captain, but I do not have much of a choice now. I left a letter at Dawn Hall, well, I actually left three notes, only one written in the Western Tongue. I couldn't find the right words when writing. I also left a note to Ross on the mantel. I didn't want to tell him in person that I was riding out to Rivendell. I needed some of the time alone.
Now, you might be wondering why I needed to ride out to Rivendell. The Lady Cuilelass had sent word requesting for my presence. She was asking for me to accompany her on a trip, though she did not give me any details on the matter. Right now, I am camped on the Last Bridge connecting the Lone-lands to Trollshaws. I am awaiting for daylight before crossing the bridge. It is not safe to go into Trollshaws at night unless you are prepared to face a troll. Hopefully I will make it to Rivendell before tomorrow night, but I suppose that is up to my horse.
Oh well, my friend. I should rest for now. I will see you in the morning. Good night.
