With child..

As her life soon was to change, Ellsa sat out back of the home she shared with her husband, Syrioh .Absentmindedly scratching the big dog by her side behind his ears ,she peered out over the lake, remembering their first meeting.

She had arrived at the Pony for something to drink and to warm up and she was standing by the fireplace, minding her own business as a man came up to her, asking her something. To this day she couldn't for her life remember what he had asked, but he soon turned ugly, commenting on her in a less than friendly manner, being quite loud.
As from no where another man had showed up by her side, to her aid, telling the man to mind his manners, making sure he left her alone. After the rude man had left she had thanked the man and returned to her own thoughts.
From this point her memories were blurred, only to remember certain parts...a fight breaking out where some men just attacked from no where, going after anyone in the Inn.She remembered having scrambled for the door, and had made it outside.
She had stood by the fountain when the Watch had hauled one of the men to jail, what had happened to the other one, she did not know to this day.
As other people started to return inside, she did aswell.
Well inside she was approached by the man that had helped her earlier, and she had agreed to sit down with him for a chat.

Smiling to herself as she sat there in the grass, thinking that from that point on, she remembered everything.

The man had presented himself as Syrioh as they sat down, and had not been in Bree that long, being a huntsman and a traveller. She remembered having looked at him, thinking she could tell that he wasn't from Bree. His skin had a different tone, and his eyes were darker. He was also tall.
They talked for a long time, in that way that strangers do when they are trying to get to know someone, and she found him to both be able to talk about serious matters aswell as having a funny side to himself.
They had talked about his passion for hunting, and she had been forced to admit that she had never been hunting in her whole life. This seemed to both surprise and amuse him, and he had immediately offered to take her hunting.
At first she had thought he was jesting, but quickly found out that he wasn't. The offer was standing, and she had accepted, thinking he would never show up for it, and felt therefor no need to worry about her safety with him.
They had agreed on going the next day and parted ways, saying their pleasantries.

Her curiosity got the best of her, and she had shown up at the stable where they had agreed to meet, thinking he would not be there. To her surprise he was already there, waiting, grinning from ear to ear, excited to go hunting.
They had not gone very far, just outside Bree. He had quickly taken down a doe.She vividly remembered him returning with it , throwing it down on the ground before taking his shirt off, and she had probably stared at him, at all of the tattoos that covered his upper body. He himself had seen unmoved by her stare which she appreciated as she had looked the other way.
The doe had been gutted and skinned very fast, and they had sat around the fire, tasting the meat after a while, sharing another conversation.
Their words had returned to what they had spoken of the night before, traveling, and her longing to see something else but Bree.He had then offered to take her with to the Shire, which he had not been visiting. And to her own surprise, she had accepted the offer!

Smiling broadly to herself as she was reminiscing their trip to the Shire, her hand slowly moved over the dogs soft fur.

They had trudged through rain and sun, setting camp where he deemed it to be good.Watched the sun set over the small villages, tasted local food. Growing closer with each day, feeling more comfortable with each other, until they both realized that their feelings had changed, going deeper, and they had admitted to each other that they loved each other.
From that day they had been together as much as time allowed away from his hunting and her chores at the Order. He had bought this house, which was now their home with their little family, Slurp the dog and Emmy the snake. Both had been a gift to one another from each other.
The most surprising thing he had done was when he completely surprised her and went down on one knee in the Pony, asking her to be his wife!

Remembering that, lifting her hand and looks at the platinum band on her finger, the lynx shaped sapphire gleaming in the sun light.

Their wedding had taken place in the Shire, them wanting to return to the place where they fell in love.
Her train of thought suddenly interrupted by the dog jumping to it's feet, barking , befoire taking off to the front of the house. She stands with ease and follows, seeing her husband has returned. Smiling she goes to meet him, immediately being lifted up and hugged into his strong embrace, to one if his usual bear hugs.

As he lets her down, she smiles at him lovingly and takes his hand, placing it on her stomach and says :

" I am with child"
