Chronicle Summary
Fiontann is relaxing by gathering ores in Trollshaws.
Chronicle Content
Fiontann was waiting for some supplies to arrive for a job in the Lone-lands. He had some weeks ahead of him and decided to take a break from fighting, till the day of the job comes, by gathering ores and making some weapons. Since apart from a mercenary he's a blacksmith as well.
He likes making weapons, all kinds of weapons, he gets immersed in the process aiming to make a flawless weapon. The hilt must be approximately long as needed for the hand or hands, if it's two handed, to hold it. He loves accuracy, and he gets really mad if something wrong happens, so mad that he can throw away the project and start an new one.
But this days he was calm enough, and happy, so he wanted to create something, something he would be proud of. So he set out heading for the Trollshaws. a dangerous but beautiful land with great forests. He picked the best ores he found, he gathered them carefully, not to break or even scratch anything on the process. A flawless weapon needs a flawless ore, he says, so he picks the ores by himself.
He rested for some hours by camping near the river in the Fords of Bruinen, and continued gathering, he wanted enough for many and different weapons.
The night was falling when he decided to leave, he gathered enough, the time to start shaping it has come, he galloped as fast as he could in Bree eager to start working. He had already made the weapons in his mind and he wanted to make them come true, he would name them as well. Give them names of what each one is capable of doing, piercing, slashing, mutilating and many more.
He arrived at the forges exhausted but happy, he left the sack near the great forge and moved towards the tools, but, after some first steps he felt sleepy. Sweet sleep was over him and he gladly accepted it...
