The party turned out grand! We heard lovely music from Miss Acorne and some lively lady elves, who call themselves the Crazy Ladies of the Forest. Miss Carthien leads them. She and the other ladies were so nice to come such a long way to play for us. They sang a song about Twilight and Dawn, too!
There were lots and lots of fireworks from Master Barkgrim. Miss Lina and our elf friend Master Cerandel judged the limerick and riddle contests. I do believe Master Cerandel was smitten by the elf ladies. I wish that I had written down the winning limerick and riddle. Oh, but my head was spinning with it all.
Missus Toadflax was worried that we wouldn't have enough food. Thanks to Miss Flinda's delicious cooking and brewing we had plenty. Master Willtanner told some jokes. Everyone had fun!
And now that it's all done, Missus Toadflax says she can sleep.
