Dear Journal,
Today I met with that girl I've seen around Gerwolf's house, Mylneth I think her name is, and her hooded friend. They brought me to a stolen plant that I now cannot remember the name of but they said it's leaves have a slow poisoning affect, but it does not kill the victim it just poisons their mind. They told me that they feared a man, Maalon, would get his hands on these and the younger girl held up a bandaged hand and claimed it was him that did that. I do not plan to let such a man wander Bree-land freely. I will find him and once I do I'll do as I see fit. I must first speak to Lord Gerwolf however, to ask leave to search for him. This Maalon has just made an enemy that was not wise to make, I've been told he is experienced. But I wish I could let him know that neither am I, only the better man will survive this. I plan to make sure it's me.
