I wish I could say that the whole ten gold episode was all due to my now working at the smithy but I know there is more to it. I heard Mum arguing with Father last night till he hit her silent. If Mum dared speak her mind to him then it must be something bad, I just wish I knew what it was.
Today I learned how to heat the forge back up from it's near dormant state. Luckily I worked all day with the young apprentice smith and haven't seen the smith all day. He is quite nice on the eyes, well toned, large arms for holding a girl in. Oh dear, I've managed to make myself blush just thinking about him. I'll try to draw a picture of him sometime soon though I'm sure it will look more akin to a scribble than any likeness of him. I wonder if that is due to one of the village young watchmen hanging about the smithy. I know there was some sort of issue with the man a few years back and a new law passed on the age a young woman could marry. The new age was 15 years of age, I wonder if I will grow close to this young smith.
