Tywerd and the dwarves ran in to the mines . They were left breathless when tywerd turned to the expedition leader , and angrily said :
Tywerd : " That .. was only one of the dangers I have spoken to you of .. "
Expedition Leader : " You think I don't know that Ranger ? We knew there were foul creatures here , that is why we have left this place centuries ago . But all of us are ready to give our lives to see Khazad - Dum gain it's glory once more . "
Even though Tywerd knew they have made a huge mistake , their determination was incredible . If tywerd could not convince them , he knew what to do . He had to slay The Watcher in the Water .
The next day , tywerd woke up and walked to the dwarves camping at the Dolwen - wiew . Tywerd stood by the expedition leader and asked :
Tywerd : " Have you sent any dwarves to other areas around the mines ? "
Expedition Leader : " We have sent a small group of dwarves to each areas . While you were asleep , 3 other brave fellas came . If you are going to slay the Watcher in the Water , I believe you will need their help . They seemed capable enough in my eyes . Each one of them went to different areas . One of them is at the Twenty-first Hall , north of Zelem - melek . The other one is at The Orc-watch in Redhorn Lodes . And the last one is at Shadowed Refuge in Foundations of Stone . I believe you must start your journey to pick them up . Over there , pick a goat and you can ride it . "
Tywerd : " a Goat ? "
Expedition Leader : " Horses can not enter the Mines of Moria for various reasons . You need to use a goat in here ... "
He named the goat ' Wild ' because it was moving like a lunatic . It kept running in to walls , and tywerd almost fell off it once . On his way to twenty-first Hall , Tywerd seen the kinds of creatures he had never seen before . It was beautiful , but also horrifying .
When he made it to Twenty - First Hall he saw a gorgeous women holding a spear in her right hand and a shield at her left hand . She was wearing a red leather hauberk with fingerless gloves .
Tywerd walked to her and said with a small smile on his face :
Tywerd : " Tywerd Thargerion , Ranger of Dunedain . "
Lastwyn : " Lastwyn of Bree , Nice to meet you Tywerd Thargerion . "
Tywerd : " I believe you have been sent here by Elrond Halfelven ? "
Lastwyn : " No , I was planning to pass to Lothlorien through moria . "
Tywerd : " Oh .. I thought you were here to slay the watcher ? "
Lastwyn : " I most certainly am not . But if you are in need of my help that bad , ranger . Then i believe it would be my honour to help you in your journey . "
Tywerd and Lastwyn mounted their goats and rode for the Redhorn Lodes . On their way tywerd explained her how they needed to find two others in moria . Before they arrived at the Orc - watch , they needed to cross a bridge . But they saw two goblins placing gunpowder on the bridge . Tywerd rode close to the gunpowder barrels are pushed them off the bridge while Lastwyn chased the fleeing goblins . She killed one of the goblins and captured the other one . She held a knife against goblin's throat and asked :
Lastwyn : " Why did you plant those barrels , who ordered you to ? "
Goblin : " I will NEVER tell you ! hahahaha " with a grim voice .
Lastwyn cut off It's arm and asked again with an angry voice . The goblin blurted the name " Ghorbash " , Lastwyn asked where she could find the orc Ghorbash . The goblin told her Ghorbash was at the Bridge of Khazad - Dum located in the center of Nud - melek . She pulled the goblin on It's feet and threw It out of the bridge .
Lastwyn : " Tywerd , I must deal with this matter . It is too dangerous to let it slide . Meanwhile you must get our other ally . I will meet you in the Water works at the Rotting Cellar . "
Tywerd : " Understood . "
They both mounted their goats , when Lastwyn turned around to ride away Tywerd said :
" Hey Lastwyn ... " he waited until she turned around to him " Be careful .. "
