Beriadan was asleep, Milo was curled up in a little ball beside them. Both were snuggled up to Baloo's stomach with Nimeway beside them. The sky was brightly lit with a clear blue sky and a gentle breeze stirring up the trees. Nime peered up from her book to the sky before she stood up and stretched a little. A soft smile spread across her face as she looked down at the three, and then she looked at the book in her hand. Rossethor had bought it for her, which she was overjoyed the night he came in carrying a sack of books for her. Nime loved to read, and now she has a few bookshelves full of books.
After Nime closed the book and propped it against Baloo, she leaned down and lifted Beriadan from the ground. The baby's eyes opened as he looked up at his mother with a giggly grin.
"Hello there my love," Nime said, craddling the baby in her arms as he began to grab for her face with his little hands. Nime was so afraid of becoming a mother at first, but now she couldn't imagine anything but pure love for her little infant. Baloo pushed himself to his feet and looked up to Nime and Beriadan. "Yes I love you too." Nime chuckled, petting Baloo's head.
Baloo wagged his tail, but Milo started to chirp at Nime as if he was saying 'What about me?''
Nime grinned, leaning down to the little fox as Baloo began to lick her face, "I love all three of you. You know that."
She smiled at the two animals, who began to wiggle in joy of gaining her attention. Then she stood back up and hugged Beriadan to her, the baby snuggled up against his mother and slipped into a gentle sleep. With a kiss on his forehead, Nime reached down to grab her book and walk off towards home. Baloo and Milo chasing after her, nipping at each other's heels as the raced each other.
