The Dwarves inform the company that the mountains are riddled with caves so perhaps there is another way out from the catacombs below the ancient library.
The company begin to search for caves and any other way into the network of caverns below the ancient library of which the dwarves spoke.
As the company follow the rapid flowing water upstream in search of the Lady Elisbeth a terrible accident happens. One of their company one of the Greymares, Killandra slips on the ice-flows and is washed away downstream.
The company search well into the night for Killandra such is the loyalty of the Warband to one another and Rivendell.
After searching to no avail, Lord Virthalion decides that the search for the Lady Elisbeth and the pressing concerns of their task given to them by the Council must now take priority over the search for Killandra.
