What the One-eyed Raven Brought

The raven fixed Yilgtig with his one good eye and croaked a warning that he not move too quickly to remove the message that was tied to his leg. The parchment read thus:

My Champion,

I was pleased to receive the bauble taken from your latest catch. I had not thought I would see another brooch bearing seven stars so soon after my last prize was lost to me.

You have done well.

Keep this one alive, but do not amuse yourself to excess with him....he may yet tell us something useful. My search continues, and I have hope that it may be as successful as yours has been. There will be rich reward for your service when next I see you.

(there is no signature but a daub of crimson wax imprinted with the sigil of the lidless eye supported by two spears.)
