The first time Gwynedh met Daerusc Gaerheleth, he rescued her from a mob in the Pony who would have stoned her to death because of her race and her homeland. Later on, in friendship and love, he gifted a pink pearl necklace, crafted with a single pearl on a slim, golden chain, to her, which she still carries on her to this day. It is one of the few things she has to cling to of her past, and one of the few things that hews her to what little sanity she has left.
