Early was the morning when she saddled her trusty steed Melody. She hewed herself up, being 4 months pregnant is no advantage, the weather was to fine to pass. She kissed her husband as he too was going out. "Be safe", he said to her as they parted, towards separate ways.
"Run Melody, feel the wind and the feel the rays of the sun" , she whispered in her steeds ear, the steed which is loyal to its rider quickens her pace, carrying her rider further and further away from home, into the Lone Lands and the Midgewater Pass. Here she held her steed into a stop and sat of, smelling the fresh morning air "I wish Benjarmin was here" , she said to herself as she walked on her own, careful not to fall and land on her stomach. All of a sudden, Melody, her steed grew uneasy... a pack of wolfs were heading towards them.
"Easy girl..easy" , she said to her steed as she drew her sword and strapped on her light shield, ready to fight the wolfs if they where to attack.. The attack came fast, Lengdiel swung her sword, cutting the head clean off on the first wolf it found, her shield took the impact of another wolf, breaking its neck, her steed rose up on its rear legs and stomped one of the remaining wolfs to the ground, cracking its skull with a loud noise as the last wolf fled.
"Lets get out of here Melody, take us from this foul place", she said to her steed as she with some difficulty mounted her steed again and off the steed ran with her rider, going deeper into the Lone Lands. "Run like the wind Melody", she said to her steed, feeling it quicken its pace even more, past the Forsaken Inn they flew, the grass whirled from the wind of Melody. Near the bridge in to the lands of the trolls they stopped as the night had placed itself upon Middle Earth once again. Lengdiel sat a long time in the saddle smiling for herself "Another day..another day, lets go home Melody", she said and turned her steed back home towards Bree and Pickgrove, the house she shares with her husband Benjarmin.
Upon her arrival home, Lengdiel felt a small pain coming from her swords arm, in this case her right, she instantly peeled her jackets arm up and found that one of the wolfs had found its target, a gash in her arm grinned her in the face "For the love of Eorl", she said loud and then said "Ben is not going to like this, but it looks like he needs to stitch his wife back up again." She went inside and cleaned the wound as good as she could, placing two long strips of silk and cloth on the wound whilst Melody happily enjoyed the hay she had been given by her rider after they had come home.
