Well, I am not quite sure how to explain all of what has happened. Well, I know Zur is alright for the moment, I found the Giant fighting a man and her passed out behind them. I woke her up and we ran off to Dawn Hall, Giant wasn't able to track us, he probably lost our trail in Combe. Though she escaped him in the end, and two people died in the process. Funny how to some people, the concept of one death terrifies them, and to others, it is just an everyday occurrence.
And then the next day, I was walking out the West gate of Bree, and a man names Zani, one who helped kidnap me, was standing over a man who laid unconscious. I tried to convince Zani to give the man to me, but he ignored me. Instead he handed the man over to another woman, a woman I assume would be affiliated with the Raikavi people, since Zani called her a friend. Though I did end up getting the man back from the lady.
I healed the man's wounds, his ears had been cut. He woke up screaming his head off, though I calmed him. When he finally came to full consciousness, he began to threaten me. I didn't take it personally, I have no clue what the man has been through. He said his name was Oster-something, I'll just call him O. I don't remember the second part. Though I am curious by him, he is a strange one. I wish I could get to know him better and find out why Zani was attacking him.
Now comes the odder event, and I honestly do not know how to write it all down. Two men came to Dawn Hall, when I was walking up, they looked as if they were trying to break in. I confronted them, and they asked me where The Captain lived and where his horse was. They claimed to be 'groomers'. I didn't trust the men and simply told them I had no knowledge of where Captain was. And then I sent them off, telling them to stay away from Dawn Hall.
Though it was only a few moments before Honey started to meow. I thought she was merely hungry, but then I heard something. As I walked around the large keg in the main room of Dawn Hall, I heard a snap. When I got back to the front of the keg, ale was pouring out of the hole. So I broke a chair to quickly seal it and try to find the cause. I ended up finding one of the men from before, who began to skip around and break open the kegs. I threw a dagger to the back of his knee, but it only scratched him and he kept skipping. He was a lunatic.
Finally after kneeing him in the stomach a few times and knocking the air out of him, he left Dawn Hall, though he left it with the kegs pouring ale all over the floor. It was a mess. Another thing I learned, I am terrible with a mop. I did my best to clean up the mess, but I ended up just stopping the kegs from pouring out and cleaned up a bit of the mess. Though it still looked terrible when I left, so I wrote a note to Captain..
Well, that's all I really have that I can write about. Well, other than the Ripper, but that I don't care to write about. Not until my business there is said and done. Oh well, I will end now and slide you back under my bed. Let's hope I don't die before I am able to write in you again.
