Letters from Angmar - Baradar

This missive appears to be a little singed, the white envelope browned at the edges and sporting bloody fingerprints. It has not reached its addressed recipient.

Baradar,

Where are you? I've not heard from you since I arrived here and now I begin to worry. Is all well? Did your journey go as planned? Are you safe? Did you find what you were searching for?

I am sorry that I could not write to you sooner, but it has been hectic here. One man is injured and much of my time is spent seeing to his health. I am only able to post this letter now because I have had to go to a place called Gath Forthnir for supplies. I do not know if you know the place, but it is a cave system hidden up a long steep slope in the mountainside. I am writing this whilst awaiting what I need from them, although they almost refused my request. That is until I told them on whose behalf I was acting.

Please write back to me, Baradar. I worry for you and I shall say again that if I hear nothing by the time I leave here, I will come to find you.

Fondest thoughts,

Ilaru
