A letter

A small envelope addressed to Captain Yisabelle Blackboar is tucked neatly inside her delegated pigeon hole. The Captain's name is signed with impressive calligraphy, the loopy letters overlapping each other, tangled up in self-entitled grandeur. Opening the letter, a sharp eye would easily deduce that the letter was in fact written by the Bree-town Ripper.

Yisabelle sat within the office of the jailhouse, going through the letters, reports, complaints, charges, news, and various papers which are sent to the Watch daily. But one letter caught her attention, opening it as casually as she had all others until. Once her eyes rested on the  writings scrawled upon the paper, a familiar sense of dread washed over her mind... the work was known to her. The hope that it ended with the era of the old gaffer was now shattered, and an old enemy would be in her sight for some time to come, surely. Laying her head down upon the desk... her next steps were to be taken carefully, and with tact.

Note that this letter will never be shown to any eyes beyond that of the watch, for investigation purposes.
