Building Alliances: Chapter Five; A Neighbour.

I was approached by a young Dwarf who had learned I was gathering allies to form an army, saying I should speak to a Dwarven Noble by the name of Glarr Mudstubbs.  I called for Robyn and the Dwarf led me to Mudstubbs home, where I knocked and was greeted by a stout, gristled Dwarf and two guards.   The Dwarf bade me to leave my weapons at the door, which I did, in part,  keeping my throwing knives hidden.  He then led me through the house to the Study, where I found the noble himself.  He asked why I had come, and i informed him I was building an army, and, after seeing his forces, I would be pleased if we could be allies.

Of course, he would not accept without knowing more details, and out of desperation I ended up telling him the majority of what I have done so far.  He nodded, and said it sounded promising, but that he would have to think on it further.  I accepted this and gave his bodyguard an address of a drop point where he could leave any messages for me to find.  I then left the house feeling uneasy.

I do not know if I can trust this Dwarf, as he has not yet sent me any messages.  I may have to have him removed if he shows signs of selling my secrets.
