The Misty Mountains adventure

I walked into the Pony as every night to enjoy a pint of ale with my friends. When i got to the counter, Barliman gave me a note. It was from Komatsu, the Lore-Master of the B.A.A. asking me to join him in a room upstairs. I found him drinking, walking nervously around the room. The man had received a quest from a Lord Elf of Rivendell: to search for ancient texts of some sort i didn't understood (Komatsu explained but i only started hearing when he mentioned the pay) at the Misty Mountain, in a place called Giant Halls. This is very important thing for him... and could be even bigger for the Association. An elf doesn't just hire men for this sort of jobs, and pays them a small fortune. Something else is in here... 

Komatsu decided to leave that same night to prepare our arrival. Today i received this letter:

Dear Anadryt,
 
 I have spoken with Gloin at his camp in the mountains. HE speaks of large Dourhand numbers that have established there own fort. We will be able to avoid goblins entirely but, facing off against many Giants is an inevitable factor on this quest. He says that these forces have driven out much of the natural predators such as mammoth and bear but we shall be weary of these anyways. I am going to press on and scout these other civilized camps I mentioned. I will write to you every night from one of them, As i will being staying there. If the letters are to stop...... don't come looking for me. and.. Take care of Zandrianna for me...

This will be the first real challenge of the B.A.A. I think we are ready for it... because if we are not, we may not return at all.
