*on this page in her Journal, a dried white Rohan flower, although one of the petals has fallen off, she keeps it between the pages to preserve it as long as she can.*
Today was such a great day! I was sitting in the pony, just.. looking at everyone.. Then!! a familiar face! I was so happy to see him, he motioned for me to follow, but I was already running to give him a hug. I was so happy to see that he was okay! It was one of my best friends Cirdu!!! My friend Dudon just told me the other night that he'll be taking his leave with is new band of buddies, so it was nice to see a familiar face.
We took a walk out of the city, which is nice, I don't like sitting in the Pony for too long... It gets congested, smelly, loud! Sometimes people even bring huge beasts into the Pony.. I walk out immediately when I see that... Natural selection I say for anyone who stays.. I don't care what kind of magic you have over it, If it can run faster then I, and has huge teeth. No thanks! I'm getting distracted... ugh happens too often! Ah, whatever its my Journal after all.
Cirdu offered to take me to see Rivendell, I've never been there!! I can't wait we're going to set off tomorrow, I need to let Tarth know I have plans, so he doesn't plan any lessons. I can't wait! You know, I'm actually really glad I got Khhan to use his magic on me, otherwise I probably wouldn't of been able to go on this trip with my friend. I'm going to pack my fishing pole... food... camping supplies... oh!! I can't wait!
Cirdu really knows how to have fun, Man the adventure's we've been on! The first one, he took me to these ruins, and it was scary, mean looking dogs and ACTUAL DEAD SKELETONS! That were alive!! and rats... oh man it was scary for sure. But we made our way around. Killing a few of the creatures, we make the quite the sneaky pair though, we were hiding against the ruins and what not. It was so fun!
We made it to this tomb, and he pushed the lid off of it, and I peered in, and the thing inside grabbed me by the throat!! oh god it was so scary!! I just well I just started failing about.. this was way before. my Dancing lessons, so if that happened again, I think I would totally have reacted differently now. No matter, he took his dagger and stabbed the thing in the skull, and he let me take the trinkets inside! It was my first Knitting lesson ever!
Then, a few days later we set out to fight some orcs.. haha but then I got distracted by a waterfall... and welll ended up slipping down a bit... and he came down to try to catch me from falling further.. but then we were kinda too far down. BUT it was great... To me atleast! At the time, I was really down on my luck with Gardening, so I just had some old Halberk that I found in the streets somewhere. However he had his nice clothes on, and didn't want to get wet, but he didn't seem too upset. Then we jumped!! IT was fantastic! The water was kind of cold, but the jump was so thrilling! We went and got our steeds, and rode back to his house, where I changed and set my clothes to dry by the fire, then a bit after that fell asleep on the rug by the fire.
Unfortunately after that, Cirdu left for a while... I went to his house and met a friend of his Thorokor, I was a bit nervous, I wasn't expecting to see someone else there, and it was all so sudden. But, he took me out and we went baking! Haha It was scary, we went after a Gaint, there was a bounty on it's head. We camped out there for the night, since it was scary to travel in those woods at night. I think Thorokor took the bounty in, the next day, though, I'm not quite sure. I've been meaning to ask him how much he earned. And no doubt about it, it was way before my Dancing lessons, He did all the work!
I don't know Thorokor as much as I know Cirdu, but he seems nice, but... I feel kind of odd like, since I'm a Gardener, I don't know I feel like he'd judge me if he found out I still gardened.. But, no matter I suppose I really ment to take up knitting over gardening anyways. I feel like I can relate better to Cirdu, since he's an ex gardener.
Cirdu gave me a flower from Rohan, It was soo sweet, I hope he didn't notice me blushing, I tried to not make it too obvious but sometimes you just don't have control over it. You know, my Gardening hood would've been a good for that, Oh well whatever I only wear that gardening! haha can't have too many people recognizing me in that hood. You know.. I'm really glad I tried to steal from him... If I didn't I would've never met him! I can't wait to go on that trip tomorrow! It's going to be fantastic! As I was writing this entry, a man approached me and I did a practice camping trip, realized a bunch of items I need to make sure I pack to be ready for tomorrow.
