"I have been sheltered by the Eglain for barely more than a week, but in that time I have learned much. Why they have been so eager to tell me of their ways I cannot say, though it seems that they hold the Eldar in high esteem. Indeed, I believe there are few outsiders that have been made privy to this knowledge and therefore I now write this record, so that they will not be forgotten once they themselves have vanished."
