Some days ago I came in Ered Luin to find the Grey Warden, Andelin found a letter in his house, I still don't know why he was there, where the Warden said that he left Bree, in search of rest. He resides in Falathlorn now, I won't mention where exactly for various reasons. I also found out that Caithrin, the girl who was attacked and we were hired to protect, went there to find him after Andelin's advice, to train. That decision was wise, her friend was trying to control her and poor Caithrin needs to toughen up.
It was Catilyn, the one that came with me on this task. We didn't find the Warden's house easily, so we spent some time wandering around trying to guess which was it. That time made us speak more than usually and something made me tell her, as well, of my decisions. After spending half our day there talking we decided to search once again and if we wouldn't find the house we'd ask around or rent a house for the night. Luckily for us, Caithrin was exercising outside the house, knowing the girl's coming I understood that that was his home. After exchanging some brief words with the girl we went inside to rest, the trip was long and tiresome, but our discussion tired us more I believe.
The next day I wanted to go North but it was raining, so I stayed in the Elven district, enjoying the time there. When I returned home I found Caithrin and Catilyn talking, so, I took Cat to the North, to Thorin's Gate, leaving Caith to her training. The trip was shorter this time and colder, the Norther we went the colder it was becoming. But it was worth it, Thorin's Gate is beautiful, we were permitted to enter Thorin's Halls, and that place was beautiful, it was home... Bree stopped being felt as home, now the Dwarven structures feel like home, like Moria does... We had some ale in there, enjoying the Dwarvish making and then we entered the Homesteads district, there it felt like home once again, into the mountain, under the ground, where the air is damp and moisty, that's where I feel home. I may long for the sun but this is home! A certain place drew me there at once and we spent time there also, but the time passed and we had to return, the others would worry.
As we were walking to the stables we saw a dark figure staring at us, but we passed by, we are seeking no trouble. But that person followed us to the stables and acted strangely, it was an Elf, an Elf far from the Elves was know, far from wise... It spoke roughly at us and then left. It was an odd sight to be seen. And then today...
I was to the Southern spot of the Elven district, in Celondim, in a beautiful garden. I sat on a bench and took the time to calm and think, many things. All was well until I heard footsteps and then a rough voice attacked me. Saying that I was disturbing the sanctity of the place. I looked at who it was but I couldn't make out due to the hood the person was wearing. The moment I took my own hood down she snarled angrily recognising me and drew her hood down also. It was that Elf... Again. She started insulting me and my kind again, showing a hatred difficult to be understood. I just sat there watching her and my responses made her more and more angry till she drew her sword. I made ready to defend myself, but I won't attack an Eldar in no way, not first at least. She snarled and threw her sword on a tree, then snarled again, my responses made her angry and she left, just as strangely as she came.
That Elf is odd, unlike the wise Elves that I met, there is no wisdom in her, something tells me that I will see her again, my words stopped her insults and got a little past her defenses. I think that our next conversation will be far more interesting, with less insults. Now I need to go outside and speak to the Warden. The time is closer... It's almost here.
