As you already know, I will be gone for a few days to Ered Luin. Do not think, however, that means you are to neglect your studies while I am gone. On Komatsu's desk, I have left the books you are to study, and a list of the sections of each that I wish you to read. I will quiz you on them when I have returned.
Also, I have hired a man who will instruct you in the art of self defense. You may recall I pointed him out to you at the tavern. His name is Grenwolf, and he is trained in combat. You are to listen to him, and do as he says.
