Background
Hamdaan hails from the far south of Harad, known as "Far Harad" among those familiar with the lands geography. "What brought a man from one of the most remote locations of Middle Earth to Eriador?" one may wonder. "Why is he not in his homeland?" one may ask and the answer that one shall receive would be that: "I have no home." An untelling answer, but he would be speaking the truth, as the mans home would be wherever his nomadic tribe went. With his tribe perished in an attack by another, he had no attachment left to the sand of the desert upon which they used to travel.
There is more as to why exactly the man has found his way to Eriador, or why he has a particular dislike for ships and alcohol. Something one may have to find out by talking to the him, it is said that he becomes inclined to talk over a cup of tea and a warm fire if one were to offer such a thing ..
