We managed to carry out the task laid upon us and are now recovering in Echad Mirobel. The undertaking had been carried with detailed precision with a few improvisations along the way thanks to the quick thinking of the members of the banner we had with us.

The final charge was to render the supplies in the main encampment of the Urch useless but as we infiltrated the outer perimeter it soon became evident that our initial scouting of the area was inadequate. They Urch with the aid of some Dunlendings had moved beyond bringing weapons and armour supplies in to actually creating them. They had a covered structure hidden from any casual observer which housed a large forge with a large bellow attachment. I knew from my own experiences that such a air driven forge could only mean one thing...... STEEL.

We gathered away from plain sight for at this time we had moved like spirits in and out of the previous camps our passage remaining unseen except for the ruined stores we left behind in our wake. But now a more direct plan was needed.

Thendryt Morson still a shadow of his former self I charged with firing the tents for men without shelter soon become discontent. To aid him the others would provide a distraction by attacking the forges out in the open with extreme prejudice. Then we would move onto the powered forges where Lilleduil's skills would be most valuable to rip the heavy stonework apart. Any metal work we found would be dropped into the molten core and thus be rendered useless. Then we would withdraw out to the river past the already ruined causeway.

The plan was executed well by the maethor and we were quickly waiting at the causeway for Thendryt to appear before beating a rapid withdrawal down river. Once landed on the other side we quick-timed westward making most use of any natural cover before stopping to allow Thendryt to catch his breath for he seemed unusually winded.

It was here that the first sign of Thendryt's weakness was made known for he walked to the rivers edge looking back at the smoke from the burning supplies back where we had come only to fall unconscious in the river. He would have drowned had it not been for the keen senses of Lilleduil. Even when fished out his mind did not come back to a wakened state so I was forced to carry the man and his garb was shared out amongst the others.

Now we are resting in Echad Mirobel. Thendryt is like a man walking with death but a shadow behind him. Something is eating him away or perhaps part of him never came back from the mountain that day, I know not which. But that something is stopping Thendryt Morson being a Leutha Maethor, an Oath taken, a chosen warrior. Whatever it is we must seek it out and remove it like someone who has a disease before it becomes too late and we lose another one to the shadow advancing on this age.

I will speak with the Lady Tiatha for she is of Lothlorien and newly come to the vale perhaps she can help for she is trained in the healing arts. If not I will speak with the Lady Manadhlaer of Bar En Vanimar.
