Amaurë speaks...
Here comes Spring like the sun shining on the gentle rain and the rain softly falling on the sunshine...the strange thing about walking in Middle-earth is that it is only now and then I remember that I am going to live forever and ever and ever, for even after Middle-earth is no more I shall one day sail west to my family in Valinor, across The Great Sea.
Every morning of this immortal life at the tender and gentle dawn-time I go out and stand under the Nenloth flowers and throws my head far back and looks up at the pale stars fading and watch the pale sky slowly changing and flushing and marvelous unknown things happening until in the East I witness the unchanging majesty of the rising of Anor the sun which has been awakening every morning for thousands and thousands of years, his warm rays gently caress my skin, as I stand alone in a wood at sunset
The mysterious deep gold stillness slanting through and under the branches and Nenloth's blooms seems to be saying slowly again and again something I cannot quite hear, however much I try. Oh Imladris where the immense quietness of the dark blue at night with the millions of stars glimmering at the sound of distant music and flowing water, oh Imladris you make this dream come true.
