The sun was rising up over the tree tops around Bree, having spent the night in Bree, in her own little place, Fengdiel now stood on the little balcony, dressed in a thin purple lace nightgown looking out over the town, first looking towards the road out from the south gate towards the Lone Lands then towards the west gate, taking a deep breath before she sat down and took up her leather journal, the one she always carried with her and began to write in it.
The sun is rising, a new dawn is here, not just for the day but for me as well, I am going to leave this town soon..with him, Arrowea to Thorins Hall, but not to the study but to his home. I can not wait, yet I am very nervous..it will be a step to a new path in my life that I am ready to go down on.. I met an old friend last night, Briannon, I wish to meet her again and talk to her but I have to leave for now
Yet I have friends here in Bree that I do not wish to forsake, Mynna..I promised her I would visit her when I came back from our journey, now I am back and I can not wait to meet her and Aeonid, my friends.. I can not just abandon them, they mean much for me, they have been there when I needed.. Now..forever..until death takes one of us, I will fight for them if I have to, I'd die by their side if I must, so that they would be safe and live on. They are my closest friends I have apart from Arrowea and Rothrian.
I better get dressed and prepared and get back to the house the rest of the company sleeps in so I am not missed by any when we set out back to Thorins Halls again.. It is with a bitter sweetness I leave Bree this time..
After she had written in her diary, Fengdiel went back inside and got dressed and packed the few belongings she had ever owned and locked the door and walked out from the house wher she had her own living space in and saddled her horse and trotted gently out from Bree, out the south gate, wondering if she was to return to Bree.
