The Creoth originally consisted of about five hundred sons of Rhudaur, all trained, raised, and taught since young. These men are the cream of the soldierly of Rhudaur, The Creoth though has grown, since it's call to arms, the lesser tribes being absorbed into the tribe that guarded Garth Agarwen.
The Creoth emphasize on two sorts of units to field in it's army. There is melee infantry, who are armed with axes and spears, though mostly axes. And they are given rounded shields to compliment their shieldwall and enveloping tactics. They also field slingers, both short slings and staff slings.
Currently the Creoth command little over nine hundred warriors, each with a history of bloodletting, raiding, and small battles.
Each warrior holds a short sling, using it as a headband, or wrapping it around ones arm. Slings are used by the Creoth to hunt, and also fight. They do indeed have lead bullets, but the production and gathering of such are slow, so the Creoth slingers rely mostly upon pond or river stones.
The standard warrior of Creoth, holds an axe or spear, and a rounded shield. These men number to about four hundreds.
The Creoth Berserkers, are the prime of the Creoth infantry, known throughout Rhudaur as bloodthirsty, cruel, yet loyal to the bone. They drive themselves into a ravenous rage, several instances shows them to be near suicidal in their pursuit for victory, making them warriors no army wants to face as foe.
The Creoth are armed mostly by bronze, the tribal smiths making work adequate for the needs of raiding and plunder. Their armour ranges from bronze scales and plate, to fur and leathers, all crafted by themselves or stolen from raids.
The Creoth bronzesmiths are actually rather practiced, as the vocation of crafting arms and armour for the tribe was something well respected. Some say the true value of a tribe, is by the quantity and the quality of their smiths, the ability to forge their own weapons and armour was a thing of renown, amongst the tribes. Over the many years of relative inaction of the Creoth, as they focused on defending Garth Agarwen, they have amassed quite the armoury of bronze weapons and armour. Simple as the arms and armour are, it is more then enough to go into battle with confidence.
In sum, the Creoth are a fearsome enemy to have, understanding death, and seek one in glorious battle, earning a place amongst the revered revenants that roam in Garth Agarwen.
