T'is done. I am now wedded to my beloved, whom I now know as "Baingol". That is the name I bestowed upon him during the speaking of our vows. I have not ceased smiling for days. The wedding was perfect and went along smoothly.
I was rather nervous before the ceremony. I stood upon an empty flet with Tinuvinil and Lahdir. We exchanged words, they were very kind. They both said I looked beautiful, in my Lórien robe of white and winged circlet of gold. We made our way down the ladder, where Isilyan was to greet us. I had the honour of being walked to the Lady's Garden by him, since Tinuvinil and Lahdir had to go and prepare their harps for the blessed event.
My beloved came into my sights. He was stood with the guests at the entrance of the Garden. I will never forget this moment, ever. He looked so handsome there, like a dream. We wore similar attire, only his circlet was white. His beautiful eyes of silver glittered within the night like two stars. His smile instantly brought joy within my heart, my anxiousness instantly quelled.
Together, we walked down to the garden, leading our guests forth. We stepped over the river and spoke our vows to one another. We exchanged our silver rings of betrothal, for those of gold. He bestowed upon me the name "Malgelir", meaning "golden, happy person". This is the name I shall be known as, to my husband.
After the ceremony, we walked to a large flet to celebrate the occasion. Much merriment was to be had. We danced, ate, drank and listened to music and song. Lady Mithanor sung for us, which is an honour. Her voice is golden, I can only dream of singing as well as she
Eventually a whole day of revelry passed. It was time for my husband and I to retire to the flet loaned to us, and seal our commitment to one another, fully. I was nervous at first, but my love put me at ease. I shall never forget that night, ever. It was wonderful.
I woke in the morning, to the lovely citrus smell of baking Lembas. My husband had woken up before me to make breakfast. For this I was grateful, for I felt a little weary. I did attempt to make nothing of my weariness, but Baingol saw right through it, as he usually does. He is as his new name suggests, wise. Since that moment he has been more attentative than usual. Perhaps, we both feel, that I am with child so soon? Only time will tell.
For now, I cease my writing. I could not be happier at this moment.
