Captain's Quick Report: Les Chantefables at the Yard party This Thursday
In Michel Delving, at the famous inn known as the 'Bird and Baby', across the ways from the town hall, there exists a weekly gathering of sorts, so named the 'Bird and Baby Yard Party'. Here, the Hobbit organizers, including a Miss Bilbeto if I'm not mistaken, arrange for famed musicians and bands to play amongst an outdoor setting of hearty food and drink for all local visitors to enjoy. In attendance to play this day was the renowned 'Les Chantefables' band, whom sung in yon own native language for many a song, and performed such warming tunes of lively jigs and cozy melodies that sent you to memories of a setting around a countryside fireplace and music.
It was with luck again that with the help of a letter from Miss Acorne, and a brief reminder glance at an article written in the Bramblebury Gazette newspaper, I sped my way to Michel Delving just in time to witness the intermission period, and then onwards the latter half of the musical talent. There was fine dancing and familiar faces to be seen; the Elven Moonminstrels led many a stepping of lively feet with their presence, as did many of those dear Hobbits in front, including amongst Miss Acorne and Miss Bilbeto the also good-hearted Master Everbrock. A musician from the Order of the White Flames (whom will be sending a band to perform at the confirmed OAKS this month) was even present, playing a passing tune during the break period when I recall arriving!
What a fine night and evening that this Bree Captain's heart was glad to not have missed entirely! Certainly what a promise on my part to make time in the schedule to hear from them again if chance ever arises -- outstanding playing, Les Chantefables! I believe a phrase in their language is; Très bien! Très bien!
But perhaps for me, I'll just settle with this:
Outstanding! And well done to the Yard Party organizers for making special another musical gathering of such cheer and welcome hearts!

P.S.
Word has it around the event postings on the notice boards around major towns and settlements, as well as an article in the Bramblebury Gazette, that another delivery of fine-feathered chickens will be leaving from famed Farmer Sandson in the Shire to the North Downs this coming 18th of the Month, just a few days from now. Tales go that help will not be unwelcome if folk happen to see this caravan of lively poultry travelling through. (( Or perhaps attend as a clucking chicken yourself, by meeting at Sandson's Farm at 2:30pm /servertime, a good way to complete the quest with the very reliable hobbits of Laurelin, and the Grand Order of the Lost Mathom and friends! ))
Finally, here are some rough sketches and colorings I managed to gather during the performance of the Les Chantefables today at the weekly Bird and Baby Yard Party. With hope, they may give you a good glance at how festive and cheerfully wonderful both musicians and the audience was!
