Suspect name: unknown
Race: unknown (possibly Breeish, Rhohiric, or Gondorian)
Crimes: assault, attempted murder, resisting arrest, escaping from prison
Summary: Two nights ago as of the time of my writing this report I, constable Danwick was on a routine patrol through the Old Stones ruins in Bree when my route rejoined the main road I heard muffled footsteps behind me as I realized I was being followed from behind, I heard a faint whistling as two daggers flew through the air, one tearing the fabric of my cloak, but otherwise bouncing of my scale armor. As I turned to face my attacker the second dagger struck my leg and tripped me. I barely had time to draw my axe and sword as the attacker came charging at me with two more daggers in hand. The attacker left me with cuts on my wrists as she charged in close, only for me to use my axe to push her away, and then subsequently charge her and knock her to the ground with the flat side of my axe.
I the moved in and used my sword and one of my feet to keep her pinned while I put her in irons, she resisted violently, she stabbed me in the foot, breaking my ankle, and then swung it upwards, missing my neck by mere inches. It very well could have became a bloody battle if officer Mandic had not arrived on the scene to assist me. With him and a pair of Good Samaritans we had the suspect outnumbered. This did not stop her from resisting as she tried to make a run for it, attempting to leap over my head to get away, this did not work out for her however as it meant I was able turn around and finish putting her in the wrist irons as she landed back to me. It was then that I returned to the jailhouse have my wounds looked to, while Mandic escorted the suspect to the jail himself.
At the jailhouse I received treatment for the cuts on my hands, and a crutch to assist my walking with the broken ankle, I had little time for rest however as a commotion outside sent me out to find that the suspect had stolen a horse in my absence and was attempting to escape from Mandic, with him, watcher Jorich, and the horse's owner attempting to catch her. I threw a blunted axe that would be non lethal if it were to hit her in order to knock her off the horse, it missed however, though that was less of a problem thanks to the fact the owner of the horse was able to whistle and stop it in its tracks. With nowhere to run us watchers detained the suspect again (being sure to cuff her legs and gag her for good measure this time) and removed her hood to discover the suspect was female (up until then the suspect had been masquerading as a male). Jorich and I then escorted the suspect into the prison and finally put her behind bars.
Once the prisoner was incarcerated I did my best to question her and learn what ever I could while Jorich removed the manacles from her. The answers I received from said interrogation were... less than satisfactory to say the very least. After that was done Jorich went over to the front desk and removed his uniform and resigned from the watch, declaring his dissatisfaction with our current leadership.
It was then the following evening that things took a turn for the worst, while I and Mandic were both off duty and asleep the prisoner made an escape attempt, she had smuggled a lockpick into the prison, probably either in the folds of her clothing or in her boot and snuck out of her cell, strangling some of the guards on watch, reportedly with a boot lace, and then using daggers stolen off said guards as well as the boot lace managed to knockout officer Nessya (who was on watch at the time) and then steal the keys. Mandic and I were waking up just as this was happening and rushed out to see what was going on. Mandic threw his sword at the prisoner then rushed to check on Nessya. I meanwhile not being much good in a fight what with my ankle rushed to the alarm bell to warn the rest of the watch. That is all I saw from there out as I was to.busy with the bell to find out what happened after, though I have now been informed she had killed the sentries outside and escaped into the night.
((Below the original report to his superiors, scrawled in a much less formal and angrier hand then the one above reads))
This woman is mad, she nearly killed Nessya and I, and did indeed kill many good guardsmen in her escape. As soon as I am able to walk unimpaired again I want permission to be assigned to the mission of finding her. I have bone to pick with this one.
