From Esteldin we rode to Aughaire. Before the pass of Ram Duath we decided to split. The main group took the middle way while Captain Adilyr and Ancthan took the eastern pass to prevent orcs disturbing us north. We successfully reached Aughaire as we had in mind but were nervous untill our warriors returned. Great was the grief when Adilyr returned alone, being overwhelmed by the orcs and split from Ancthan. Acthan is captured by the orcs. Thus we rode as fast as possible to Morfil, our original destination. There we landed a succesfull offensive and we tortured an orc. We got to know there that Ancthan and the eventual other prisoners would be taken to the large fortress of Carn Dum itself. With us travels a real ranger we met in Aughaire and with our leader and successor and best warriors we can only hope to free our friends successfully. We have no other choice. We do not leave Ancthan to pain and death. The situation grew worse and has become desperate.
