The trip to Evendim - Part 1

Caithrin had been in up late this morning, the baby had keeped her waken. This last few days it had been start feeling like it moved around. It was faster then with Roy but she was not worried. She knew now that the baby was fine. She had started off the day with leaving Roy to the neighbors again. He seemed more happy now to be with childrens in his own age during the days. And Caith had now more time to fix what needed to be fixed at home. She had start to really feel like this was her new home. She had start baking like she did before and also take walks around the area to finde some flowers and herb that she took home for medic resons. She had not told Lyth about this trips from the house. He was to busy with perpering for the bady and all other work that needed to be done with the house. And sometime she could notice he was gone. She thought he was somewhere out in the woods. She did not mind him leaving. That was something she needed to get used to and she trusted him that much that she knew he would return. The day passed on, she had been baking a lot of bread and almost every work at home was done. She walked out side with a bucket with chicken food to feed thoes little once. As she stood there watching them she could hear him walk up behind her. She smiled as she turned around. He gave her a long kiss and she felt the warm feeling inside of her fill her up. He asked if she was up to alittle trip. She thought of the idea for a momrent. Even if she had a strong wish to go back out on the roads again and hoppfully do some good fo thoes that are in need, she knew she needed to be carefull now when she was pregnant. In the end, her lust for feeling the air in her hair and to the skinn won. They decided to take a safe trip off just the two of them. Caith walked over to the neighbor that was babysitting Roy and talked to them about the trip. A lady said she could take care of Roy while they was out on the road. After she had told the woman all she needed to know she kissed her soon good bye. Then she went back home to pack her bags. They had said that they would be gone for a week or so. She packed some clothing and food for alittle bit more then a week. She then took her little bag and placed some herbs and other healing stuff to. Even if she wish that she would not need them, it was better to havee them with her. As her bags was full she took her bow and sword with her down and started to pack her horse. Lyth had done the same and stood there waiting for her. He seemed excited to go. And so was Caith. They jumped up on to there horses and said good bye to the house and took off. The road was quiet and easy to ride at first. They made some stopps on there way to Evendim, a place that Lyth know off as a good and calm place for a trip. He told her about an island in the Evendim lake that would be beutiefull and they decided to leave there horses in a nearby stable and just take the bags with them. They borrowed a small boat and made theree way over. The sun was goind down behind the mountains, that made the sky light red. Caith thought it was really nice view. They jumped of the boat and walked on to the land. They walked up and then stopped. Something was wrong. It was not a safe island, it was filled with Brigands. They was everywhere. After a time they decided the best they could do was to leave and go back to tell the guards in the nearby town. As they walked back to the boat they made a horrible discovery. A man was running from them laughing. He had destoyed the boat and now they had no choise then to try to stay alive.
