Aeva: "Why did you have to punch him?"
Aure: "He gave me a permission to do so, did you not listen?"
Aeva: "It doesn't mean you had to punch him!"
Aure: "It does. He is full of shit. An innocent man doesn't need to talk that long to excuse his actions. Also has he ever apologised for laying this on your shoulders? I bet not. He tried to make it sound like he is the victim. I would've respected him a lot more for an honest apology. Everybody makes mistakes, but only those who are pure at heart regret them."
Aeva:"But he is a victim!"
Aure: "He left a woman alone with a small child."
Aeva: "She slept with her father!"
Aure: "This is supposed to reassure me?...Are you certain you wish to make friends with people who lay with their parents and abandon their children? The child had nothing to do with the woman's crime. It does not remove his duty toward the small one."
Aeva:" You can not judge a man based on one deed."
Aure:"I can, I just did."
Aureliyn sighs.
Aure: "Consider this then. He wears a ponytail... It does not promise good Aeva."
Aeva: "But I like his ponytail."
Aureliyn stares at her blankly.
Aure:"Alright. I do not enjoy pointing this out, but it seems I have little options.... He has a child. The wife wished to remain married. You are destroying their family. Think of the child, I beg you. Don't break our old father's heart by courting a family man and destroying the poor child 's future. Imagine if our father would've abandoned our family for another lass. Imagine him living elsewhere with that woman and us alone. Do you wish to be the woman who steals a father from an innocent child?"
Aevalyn startes at her sister, her expression pained. Eventually she looks downward, appearing fairly miserable.
Aure:"And the threat you were given...you need to think more before you act. I dont want to lose you again."
Aeva:"You're not going to lose me. I will outlive you. I fell off a mountain and lived, didnt I?"
Aure:"By some miracle."
Aeva:"....called Bor."
Aure:"I have asked you to not mention that rat's name."
Aeva:"But I want you to accep that he saved me!"
Aure:"You ask me to feel gratitude toward a man who slaughtered our kinsmen?"
Aeva:"I would not be here today if there wasn't for him!"
Aure:"Tell that to all the women he raped and murdered."
Aeva:"...But he stopped that after he met me!"
Aureliyn pinches the bridge of her nose, looking downward. She sighs before leaving the room.
