The Weeping Hobbit
Poetry from 1388-92
By Dorso Bracegirdle
Introduction:
This is a rewritten, second-edition of my first true poetry-book. This book, of all my others, has sentimental value to me as when I lost my dear Heather and my young Teddy, I wrote these poems expressing my different experiences with grief within the course of five years which I grieved. Grief is a horrible thing, but it also makes us stronger at the end and gives us a new meaning to get on with life. I learnt to honour my dear Heather and Teddy, and trust myself to find happiness again. Thus, this book is dedicated to the memory of my loving wife and my son, who never got to experience life. If you're reading this book, I thank your kindness for doing so, and without further ado... Let us begin.
