Tales of a Dalish Tailor - Page 137

Dear Diary,

Well... as of yesterday afternoon... I am Bretthera Seacrest no longer.

I am now Mrs. Bretthera Willowdye.

The wedding was wonderous, just with me, my new husband (Tordann), my twin sister (Malleiya), my father-figure (Awarth), my closest friend (Gracelyn), and another good friend of mine (Dryn) there... I find it somewhat odd that he was a fair distance away, but... overall, it was perfect. Just what I had dreamed of as a little girl.

The afterparty... well, though it was a festival, it still surprised me to see a full band and several Hobbits dancing away and wishing my new husband and I very well and much luck in the new future he and I have together, telling us congratulations and giving us fresh, happy memories to begin the married life with. One of them, once the band had to depart, even gave me a gift! It was... the most wonderful thing, to be noticed in such a positive way... I believe Torr had it planned out beforehand, but it was such a grand scene, oh how I wish I could properly describe it!

After the band left, and the festival returned to what it was before, Torr gave me yet another surprise--no, it was not another band, though the thought may run through one's mind. This time... it was a wolf pup! The little thing is so adorable! I haven't yet named the little cub, the little one is just old enough to be away from his mother, and I haven't an idea what personality he has yet. I'd rather a name come that would be fitting for him than name him something and have it be completely opposite the darling pup's personality.

Then, after all was said and done, Torr and I retired for the night, as we will begin our journey to Ered Luin here shortly. It is...

Looking back on the fresh memories that we have now to share... I dare not try and change anything... it was an absolutely gorgeous ceremony that matched what my dreams as a little girl held for me. The afterparty was fun and, though I wish I could describe it in better terms, absolutely fantastic. The surprises were more than perfect... and I adored having my friends and family there to see...

I wouldn't change a thing in the world...
