The body was nearly bereft of flesh, most of the body being picked away by the wildlife or time. With the corpse was a woman Vemia who stumbled upon the sight before I did, after explaining what little she knew she revealed the corpse in question's name was Simon, describing from her previous interactions with him in life that he frequently chased after the opposite sex, including advances on herself, perhaps such behavior was the motive for his death? As I began serving the corpse a gold ring of dwavish make was found on one finger, the other woman tried to lay claim to it, but begrudgingly handed it over to me as evidence in the end.
