Godrich will continue my work here, as I go northward. I am disappointed with Amlarad's disinterest in what I told him regarding the copper haired lass. Perhaps he was preoccupied with his 'test'. I do not know. I hope that I would put information that affected my land above some test. Perhaps these northerners are too proud to listen to any other than themselves. So be it, then. Godrich will work on alone, if need be. The information from the woman I questioned needs to be verified. I will not let the northerner's disinterest waste a death. He is to observe the route, watch for her return, her rendevous with the despoilers of the tombs. It seems clear that she is some link to the south - information? carrying goods? I need to know what information or what goods... what does she take from these robbers that is so needed, what does she give in return? She is a regular visitor, and red hair is not common here. Whether he follows her, befriends her or takes her I do not care. I want to know who she is returning to. It is clear there is a link between the tomb robbers and the Angmarim, their gear confirms it. But what or who is in the south and its part in it... I burn with curiosity... enough to melt the snows of the north.
