Captain's Quick Report: Bara Bahau visit the Yard Party

Such busy times, and so much to do!  I will have to unfortunately make this a more brief but as worthy detailed report as possible – already are there two other occasions of interest to try and travel for, but hopefully this brief writing and collection of rough sketches and colorings will give you an idea of what tonight’s Bara Bahau band at the Bird and Baby Yard Party was hence like!

And so… the Bara Bahau!  What a band of musicians!  At least two Hobbits, a Dwarf, and two Elves (or was one from the race of Man instead, it was difficult to tell!) from the looks of it – the Dwarf being the well-known name ‘Master Zedrock’ himself!  The Master Dwarf being one I’ve heard some semblance of rumours that he or some folk he knows having published extraordinary moving drawings that capture entire feelings from past concerts and musical events known to our lands.  One such source of evidence being from a recent article published in the Bramblebury Gazette, particularly near the end where if you look closely, you just may find directions to where to find these amazing ‘moving’ drawings themselves!

So too did this Yard Party, organized by Miss Bilbeto and many other helpers each week, become once more an outstanding occasion of good folk from the Free Peoples gathering to dance, and listen to most wondrous music from the Bara Bahau.  I even saw dear Master Silon for some time, I hope his work hasn’t been too overbearing of late.

Many friends in the audience were also about, and it was a most welcome sight to see the band raise such spirits throughout – many of their words uttered most strange phrases and language seemingly exotic and not of our immediate Eriador, or Middle-earth for that matter… but surely a testament to how well-travelled some of their musicians and writers must be!  It was a joy to see such diversity in the melodies and words, all with many familiar faces in attendance from previous performances throughout the months.  For those Hobbits such as Miss Bilbeto, Miss Acorne and Miss Toadflax, and many more that offer splendid, organized gatherings with musical guests throughout the months and year – to attend as a welcome visitor from other races and lands is to experience a culture of great merriment and harmony.

But time to close this writing, and attempt to consider attendance for a planned Brockenborings Fishing Contest just a short time from now, the next few days in fact.  Then there is the OAKS with the Baertigen Musen back in Oldfurlong, far back south in the Shire-bounds, which would require a swift and timely journey back to arrive on schedule.  And then even further beyond that, I’ve heard that after the unfortunate storms that raged some weeks past, the Shire Wassail by Hobbits has finally been rescheduled near the end of this month.

Good journeys, Master Reader.  There is much to do!

(( Disclaimer: Hello folks, I'd like to caution you that taking a look at the embedded slideshows coming up below will likely not go too well if your in a hurry, and hoping to just get a 'general gander' at what the event was like.  The 'Overview Collection' above is more suited for that!

Viewing the albums embedded below is more geared for those folks looking to get a /slightly/ more play-by-play spirit of how things unfolded.  In fact, I only recommend having a browse through if for some reason, you have an urge to well... just look at a lot and lot of screenshots -- many of the shot angles/perspectives being repeated in other screenshots but at different times during the event, etc!  Thanks for reading. ))
