All this within a simple journal, tattered from turned pages yet kept neat in order, characters squeezed tightly into the pages as if determined to make this one, auburn-leather book last to the world's end. Scribbled with care, etched with a quiet forethought, all that lies here is as thoughtful as every word from his mouth.
