Another night awake

Aeruthuil lets out a sigh as he looks around. All the men seemed to be long asleep by now, he smiled for a moment before looking down towards Ayla who had been sleeping on his lap. He carefully goes through her hair, playing with it for a while. Her hair had gotten longer, he hadn't noticed before but it was nice. He smiled to himself again as he stares in to the fire. He could not have been more luckier and happier with a woman like her, she means the world to him. She knew that he didn't want this, she understood him not liking being forced to take over the role of Captain. She understood so many things about him that he didn't even understand. He loves her so much.

Regardless he was happy to be out and about again, especially with those that followed him. He shifts his gaze over towards Atharandir. The man had been in his life for such a long time now, it was hard to watch him like this. 'Hopefully they would be able to finally find his father..- Atharan had been alone for so long... But..' He looked over towards the woman sleeping right next to Atharan. Her name was Aadyn, one of the Lossoth, more or less. She is an interesting woman indeed and seemed to care a lot for Atharan. Perhaps Atharan wasn't as alone as he thought.

Aeruthuil shifts slightly as Ararhiem, his trusty steed, goes to lay next to him. He slowly goes through his manes and chucks a few twigs in to the fire. He chuckles as he notices Brywulf's hand reaching over towards Aadyn's bag in his sleep. The Rohirrim Lieutenant probably dreamt about food, it did not surprise Aeruthuil at all.

Aeruthuil looks up at the night sky, the stars ever so bright shining down upon them. Hopefully Calardor, Daersulval and Maelstorm were alright. They had gone out for hunting and scouting, but were expected back before nightfall. Aeruthuil lets out another sigh, he was probably overreacting. He has done for a while now..- Ayla's pregnancy, his dear daughter Duvaindis' pregnancy and all the other things had slowly gotten to him. Aeruthuil slowly places his cloak around himself and leans back against Ararhiem's belly. He looks back up at the stars. Star Men is what they call them.. Star Men.. Star Man?

Aeruthuil frowns and chews his lip as he suddenly thinks about Amrundor. He always called him a Star Man. He couldn't believe he left the young Harad lad without even letting him know where he had gone, especially after Belegurion suddenly reappeared in the young lad's life after the news of the Captain's death. He could not help but wonder, if he was alright. He held the lad close at heart, he was so young and already had been through so much. 'Belegurion is a good man and cares so much for Rashnu but..-' Aeruthuil sighs. 'But Belegurion could not stay in Rashnu's life, it would most likely only hold them both back and cling on to the past.'

Tomorrow.. Tomorrow he would send him a letter to let him know where Ayla and him wandered off to, Falraenn would probably be able to read it out to Rashnu.
Aeruthuil nods to himself before finally drifting off to sleep.
