After a couple of hours the rowing was done and the travellers reached the Men Erain. The woman knew that the path towards the ancient city will be a dangerous one. They pulled the boat out of the water then looked at each other in silence. Katrandil knew that they are waiting for her to lead the way but she just stood here for a long moment, catching the views of the Great Lake. Then she finally proceeded, leading them though Men Erain towards the Eastern Gate of Annuminas.
The path leaded straight as they followed it, hopefully avoiding the danger they have been expecting. Both of her companions didn't know what awaits them in the flooded city, neither that their stay was not going to be a long one. Soon, they have seen the gate ahead and what she saw there surprised her. The city appeared to be overrun by the Angmarim. Suoma looked curiously at the enemies, not knowing their intentions yet. "Humm di dum. Who are these people? Oh my" - She asked, looking around as they were everywhere. Ornessar looked around as well then glanced at Galad for a moment before turning to the hobbit. "Invaders. Not so peaceful guys." - He answered then readied his sword just in case as well as Katrandil did. And it seemed that they did right.
As the travellers tried to sneak to the city but failed and the Angmarim attacked them. They mostly went towards Suoma, no one knew why. She appeared to have fun anyway, running in circles and forcing them to chase her. "Round and round and round we go, round till ye be no more. Song for you to go away! So we live another day! Round round round ye go, Straight to the elf lord sword" - She kept singing while the ranger and the elf kept fighting the enemies, making their way to Echad Garthadir. They seemed to enjoy the song as even a small smile could be visible on their faces. Even Forngarmo smiled from under her mask. "Go away! Oh my" - The hobbit shouted as they were fighting the last of their attackers, then the fight was done after a moment. They looked towards the woman who appeared to be calm.
They did it, they reached the outpost and she turned to the two. "Here.." - She said motioning towards Echad Garthadir and walking to the camp. "For the queen and the elf lord!" - Suoma shouted as she looked around. Katrandil nodded. "Welcome to Annuminas." - She said after a moment then they walked towards a campfire. "Not the most pleasant welcome I tell you that" - The hobbit said following her, then there was a moment of silence before they sat down by the fire.
Suoma looked over to the woman and finally get herself to speak again but Katrandil was first to do so. "Alright.. a quick break here." - She said then looked at the hobbit who clearly wanted to say something but just waited for her to begin. "Miss, If this is your kindom why do you hide your face?" - The hobbit asked then there was another moment of silence. Ornessar wandered away, to investigate the plaque nearby and Forngarmo was left to answer the question. She skipped the question and finally spoke again. "Let us have a rest, as we had a tough day fighting our way here..." - She said towards both of them, but was not sure if Ornessar heard her. But hopefully he did as he joined them by the fire not long after that. "Don't mind at all for a short breath, no maam don't mind at all. Some bisquits would be in order oh yes indeed..." - Suoma answered then started to rummage in her bag, finally taking some biscuits and then she started to eat them. "What an adventure! to see these places of old stories of man, bree folk talked about these, not so much of us hobbits" - the hobbit added not long after then they decided to take a rest.
After a couple of hours they decided to return to the Island and started to make their way towards The Port of Annuminas. "I am wondering how is Gondorn doing since we left him behind." - Katrandil said after a moment then arranged another boat from one of her kin. She sat in it and so did the others not long after. "Oh right, I sure hope his alright" - Suoma said after she found herself in the boat. Katrandil nodded, then pushed the boat away from the shore. "Let's see. Let us row our way back to Tinnudir." - The woman chuckled and they began to sail back towards Tinnudir.
